My name is Vishal Murthy and I am an illustrator, comic artist and veterinary neurologist.

From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for drawing and creating art. Over my time first as a student and later as a veterinarian, I realized the impact visual media can have on education and learning. Since then, I’ve worked to hone my artistic skills, leveraging my knowledge and understanding of veterinary medicine, and science in general, to create a wide range of artwork that has been used in various textbooks, journal articles, lectures and more. I enjoy helping people communicate ideas and present concepts in an entertaining and engaging manner.
